man was riding his horse through Pennyrile Forest, when he was stopped by a beautiful woman in his path.

“I am your future wife,” the woman said, “But there are three things you must accomplish before you win me? First you must take a patch of bark off a white birch tree. Second, you must gather three leafs as red as blood, and third, you must give me a kiss filled with passion.

“What do you have to do to win me?” said the man. The woman looked confused. He got down off his horse, and walked towards her. Without pause, he gave her a kiss filled with passion. Their lips held for several seconds afterward.

“If that’s not enough, then I don’t know what is,” the man said, “I guess I’ll see you in the future,” and he got back on his horse and continued on his way.
